Neighboring with a Natura 2000 protected area of Alykes we recognize that each action that our business takes, has an impact on the environment and the community in which we operate. Because of this, we take a number of measures in order to implement environmental protection to benefit our guests, colleagues and the community overall.

Blue Flag is a world renowned Eco label that is trusted by millions worldwide, and promotes the protection of the coastal environment, water quality as well as safety and access for all.
Caravia Beach Hotel also takes part in the annual #blueflagmedweek within the realm of the Clean Seas initiative organized by the UNEP (United Nations Environment Programme). This beach cleaning operation taking place across no less than 10 Mediterranean countries as part of the UN Environment #CleanSeas global campaign to reduce marine litter:

The Gilchrist and Soames soaps are a naturally & nature friendly firm members of the Green Dot , thus aligned with the environmentally sound recycling and waste management, Cruelty Free with 100% biodegradable and recyclable packaging
Other items used in the Food & Beverage, Housekeeping department and general amenities are from recycled material.
We source local produce for our Greek Breakfast menu and buffets.
